Slovakia/Austria: Shipping lines reduce free hours for unloading and import

For both countries, waiting time is now charged at 120 euros/hour.

Since import usually takes 1-2 hours in Austria and 2-6 hours in Slovakia (due to the location of the customs office and the volume of freight to be processed at the Port of Bratislava), this change could affect the total cost of your shipments.

Invoices for waiting time are typically issued two to three weeks after the container has returned to the depot and will be billed back at cost plus a 15 euros admin fee.
