Thailand: Book additional free time to avoid demurrage charges

Diplomatic shipments, in particular, now take 3-4 weeks to clear due to the time required to obtain a DP1 permit from the ministry of foreign affairs.

This has led to additional demurrage charges in cases where the freight was booked without additional free time.

To avoid these costs, we recommend requesting an additional 21 free days for diplomatic shipments and 14 free days for normal shipments.
